FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS!

WHAT MAKES YOUR WORK DIFFERENT FROM OTHER PHOTOGRAPHERS’ WORK? 

We endeavor to treat every wedding as if it were our own, making our client's special day our absolute highest priority. We strive to get to know our clients personally in order to diligently create a set of images that really speak to them.

HOW DO WE RESERVE OUR WEDDING DATE WITH YOU?

In order for us to hold a wedding date, we need a retainer and a signed contract.

WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE?

We ask that 25% of the collection chosen is paid at the signing of the contract; the remaining balance is due two weeks prior to the event date.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE RECEIVE?

Every collection has a certain number of photos depending on the day, for example, a 10 hour wedding day, 150 guests, two photographers, could be between 800-900 Images. We would love to hear the specific details of your wedding day to give you a better idea.

DO WE GET THE RAW PHOTOS?

Unedited, raw photos are not available for viewing or purchase, as we want to present and share with our clients photos at their best and fullest potential.

DO WE GET THE COPYRIGHTS TO THE IMAGES?

Copyrights are for the creator by law to edit, publish, and to advertise. However, we give our couples the rights to print and share their images only.

ARE ALL IMAGES EDITED?

All images are lightly edited (color correction and exposure adjustment)

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDITED AND RETOUCHED IMAGES?

Edited images are color corrected with exposure adjustment, while retouched images are edited plus removing blemishes, skin softening, and custom vignette.

DOES THE ONLINE GALLERY HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE?

The online gallery is a private, password protected online site. It is a way to digitally view your wedding day images. A link will be sent to your email 8-10 weeks after your event with all the edited photographs. The gallery will expire after one year from the publish date.

DO WE GET THE PHOTOS ON THE USB WITHOUT THE WATERMARK?

If the collection you have chosen includes a USB then, yes, the USB will have all the high-resolution images without watermarks.

WHAT ARE SIGNATURE PHOTOS?

Signature photos are high-end, edited, award-winning photos. These photos are captured with creative lighting techniques and finesse posing for a dramatic look and scene. It is more than just a snapshot. The editing process takes hours for a single photo and may take up to 10 hours to finish. This process includes color correction, advanced skin softening, custom vignette, body contouring, distracting object removal, tonal enhancement, crop and straighten, sky swap, and HDR effect. These types of photos require more time to set up and capture than regular photos. For this particular service, there is an additional charge.

DO WE NEED A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?

We recommend having a second photographer, especially for large events. We are not only partners, but we’re also engaged to be married! Which means most of our collections already include it. The second photographer is beneficial in many ways. For example, if you and yours choose to get ready in two different locations, having a second photographer will allow you to have full coverage simultaneously and save time. A second photographer also ensures the capturing of candid moments from different angles throughout the day. We have chosen and trained our second photographers carefully.

DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?

Yes, we have General Liability Insurance coverage and can provide a copy of our certificate to venues if required, or upon client request.

HOW LONG UNTIL I RECEIVE MY WEDDING PHOTOS?

It may take up to sixty business days to receive the images. Our normal business hours are Monday through Thursday from 10 am -7 pm. In and around the holiday season, the delivery of images may take up to an additional two weeks or more. We take pride in giving our clients our best work possible, and would not want to rush the post-production process.

WE’RE HAVING A DESTINATION WEDDING. DO YOU TRAVEL?

Yes! We love destination weddings and we love to tell stories through photographs. Destination weddings fall into different price ranges. Send us more information on your travel plans, and we will create a custom wedding package to suit your needs.

HOW DOES THE ALBUM DESIGN PROCESS WORK?

The first step is selecting images for your album. From here, we take about 14 business days to complete the first digital draft of the album. Once you have received your first draft, you will have up to two revisions to complete the album to your satisfaction. When you are ready to approve, the album will be sent into production. We want our clients to know that once sent to production, the album can no longer be altered at this point.

CAN WE ORDER PRINTS WITH YOU?

Yes of course! For your convince, we have high-quality prints available on your online gallery.

CAN WE ADD ON “A LA CARTE’ ITEMS AFTER THE EVENT?

Yes, you can always add/order albums and prints at any time!
